WHAT WE TAKE
All items must be modern (less than 10 years old), cleaned, complete and in working condition.
We currently have a 15 item/week limit per consignor to reduce backlog and to serve all.
During WINTER, we do NOT accept consignment on Saturdays to best serve our shoppers.
Gear Hut reserves the right to close down intake for the day when we are full.

Consignment Seasons
Gear Hut's year is split into 2 distinct retail seasons.
Summer season: April- August
Winter season: October- February
March and Sept are a little funky at the shop! During transition months we only accept "year round" items (ie: see notes at the bottom of this webpage; general apparel, camping, hiking & climbing gear). Winter and Summer specific gear is ONLY accepted on consignment during their above listed retail seasons.

WINTER CONSIGNMENT Season runs from Oct. 14 - Feb. 14th
NO consignment drop offs accepted on SATURDAYS!
Consigned skis/boards MUST BE 2016 and NEWER
-Resort skis with modern bindings
-Snowboards
-Snowboard bindings
-Ski boots and snowboard boots
-AT bindings, pin only
-Snowshoes
- Goggles, gloves and mittens
-Poles (sets only, not bent)
-Avy gear (beacons, probes, shovels)
-Accessories (goggles, hats, gloves)
-Winter apparel (by "Brands We Love")
**We collect ski recycling for any ski equipment that doesn't pass quality control or is older than 2015**
Suggested $3 donation/item recycled to keep the program feasible!
Items we accept as DONATION ONLY:
- 3D Snowboards/Bindings
- SNS Profile & SNS Pilot XC Skis & Bindings
- Frame Binding Backcountry Skis
Items we DO NOT ACCEPT:
- Racing Skis/Apparel
- Boot Liners
-Scratched Goggles
-Pilled/worn Beanies

*No soft goods, ie: slings, ropes, webbing, etc.
*No blown out shoes
Camping
*MODERN camp equipment, no glass
*Items must be CLEAN and operational
*No external frame backpacks
*Sleeping bags must include stuff sacks
Hiking & Backpacking
*Apparel should be from the "Brands We Love" list
*Footwear must include laces, insoles and tread
