Local Artists
Gear Hut has a passion for working with and supporting local artists, through hosting community events, by commissioning murals and through our rotating artist display program! We offer our community the opportunity to invest in art and support local artist by using their Gear Hut store credit to buy pieces.
We also highlight and feature local artists by offering wall space for local outdoor inspired artist to sell their works. If you are interested in displaying nature or adventure inspired work at the shop, email us at manager@gearhutreno.com.

Resident Shop Artist, Blair Latos:
Blair Latos creates amazing large and small oil and acrylic paintings of her favorite spaces in the mountains. Her work is currently on display and available to purchase at the shop, or check out her Website!
Current Rotating Artist Feature, Maya Mason:
Raised in Reno, Maya has spent over 20 years being inspired by the nature and beauty of the Sierra Nevada, which translates to her artwork. Right now, she has a collection of self designed, textile arts featured in the shop and available for purchase. You can also follow her on instagram to support her artist journey.
