Gear Hut provides cost effective bear can rentals for your next adventure. The entire Tahoe Basin, TRT and Desolation Wilderness as well as most National Parks and wilderness areas now require bear canisters to travel into the backcountry; but it can be hard to validate investing in a bear can for your 1-2 trips a year. 

 

Gear Hut offers nightly, weekly and month long rentals at accessible rates for your next trip.

Canisters are first come-first serve.
Payment is required at the time of reservation
Reservations often BOOK OUT in summer months.
