Y'all have been asking since late July... and it's finally about time to dust off that gear you're ready to rehome. Before dropping off consignment, please review the following 10 policies to ensure a smooth exchange and to increase your sellability. We're excited to kick off our 8th winter with you!

ree

1. Cleanliness & Condition

As always, CLEAN your gear before drop-off. If it's dirty or non‑functional - we will not accept it. Give it a quick wipe down to remove garage grime and increase selling value.

  • Gear must be modern and in usable condition.

  • No projects, coreshots or delamination.

  • Consignment must have sellable value to make it to our racks.

  • Apparel must be clean, no stains and all zippers functioning.

2. Age Requirement for Hard Goods

All hard gear—skis, snowboards, and bindingsmust be from 2015 or newer. Gear depreciates quick, and has little value after just 5 years! Our goal is to ensure we're offering more current gear, meeting buyer expectations, and keeping rack space free for quality goods. We will continue to offer ski recycling options for older gear (with a suggested $3/recycled gear donation), more info in section 10.

3. Drop-off Details

  • Consignment opens October  1 this season!

  • We do NOT accept consignment on Saturdays during Winter

  • Drop-offs are limited to 15 items/consignor each week. The goal is to ensure high quality intake and to be able to serve EVERYONE and reduce the amount of consignment closures! Have a larger drop-offs? Please call ahead to schedule: 775‑219‑4612! We'll still try to accommodate you within our means!

4. Snowboards & Bindings

Boards and bindings are consigned separately. Ensure you include all necessary mounting pucks and screws with bindings.

  • Exception: Mounted split-boards and bindings will be sold together as a kit.

5. Resort/Alpine Skis & Drilling Policy

Ski's are consigned WITH bindings, ready to go. Bindings must be fully functioning.

  • We will accept a VERY LIMITED amount of flat skis. Must be NEW or drilled once AND less that 3 years old (or Moments).

6. Cross-Country Gear Rules

We accept ONLY the following XC binding systems for consignment:

  • NNN

  • NNN BC

  • TURNAMIC

  • Prolink

All other XC styles will be accepted as donations only (SNS Pilot/SNS Profile)

7. Seasonal Pick‑Up Deadlines

To streamline end-of-season processes:

  • Winter seasonal gear (e.g., boots, skis, beanies, helmets, technical/insulated outerwear) must be picked up March 1-15, or it will enter our End-of-Season Sale

  • End of Season Sale will run from March 17-25, with extra discounts to push items to move. These discounts will be taken from both the consignor AND store splits.

  • Any unsold items not collected during our Final Pick Up from March 17–29 will be donated or converted to store inventory to make room for spring items in April.

8. Pricing Philosophy

We aim to keep winter gear affordable and accessible, while taking the stress of selling off your "to do" list. A gentle reminder that regardless of condition, gear depreciates IMMEDIATELY.

  • Newer models (current year 24/25) often go on sale for up to 40% off at typical retailers and on manufacturer's websites. Used skis should NEVER cost more than new skis.

  • Used hardgoods from 2020 or newer are priced at ~25–45% of original MSRP

  • Skis/snowboards from 2015–2019 fall in a $125–$225 range, depending on condition and demand.

9. Weekly Inventory Updates

Watch our in-store “Not Taking” board and social media for bi weekly updates on what categories or sizes we’re currently full on—or if we're pausing intake altogether due to space constraints. If you drop off and get denied because we're full on an item, it's not you, its us (unless you saw we weren't accepting it and brought it in anyway ya ding dong).

10. Quality Control & Recycling

Did your item not pass out Quality Control? Skis or snowboards that are damaged or dated (pre‑2015) become part of our ski recycling program. We suggest a $3 donation/item for ski recycling to keep the program viable. NOTE: due to storage/space limitations, we are only accepting SKIS, SNOWBOARDS & POLES for recycling. No boots!
