While the first week of our Spring Trail Series hike at San Rafael Regional Park got rained out (tentatively to be rescheduled!), but we had a great turn out for our Tom Cooke/Mayberry Park event!
Gear Hut has partnered up with Reno Running Co. and KTMB for a second year of our collaborative spring trail series. All clean up supplies are provided, courtesy of Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful.
So far, we've enjoyed guest speakers from Nevada Outdoor Business Coalition, and demo shoes from Altra along with a chilly post hike hang out that included brews, pizza, and a raffle!
This trail series is open to all levels of hikers, trail runners and mountain bikers and is family friendly! With that being said, if you didn't make it to last week's hike, make sure to RSVP on Facebook and join us for the next one! Our next trail series hike is: May 5th at Rosewood Nature Study Area w/Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation & Salomon! We can't wait to see you there - the Nature Study Area is an amazing resource for Reno and we're excited to help clean it up!
