Holy smokes did January's powder reports BLOW US AWAY!!! Hope you've all been out there shredding it up and soaking in the snowpack. Tahoe was breaking records: "average snowfall in the Tahoe Area for the first 19 days of January at 84 inches." But on our end... we're planning 90 days in advance (that's your consignment term). Which means, 90 days from Feb 1 is pushing us into MAY. And honestly, we don't want to still have skis here in May, hopefully by then, its all things boats, bikes and backpacking!
Wednesday, Feb 1st is the LAST DAY to drop off skis/boots/boards. All winter hard goods. Wednesday, Feb. 15th is the LAST DAY to drop off winter specific apparel. (Ski shells and snow pants). We have a couple exceptions for HIGHLY in demand items such as snow shoes, avy gear (beacons, probes, shovels), and accessories (poles, gloves, mittens, goggles). If you are AFTER the dates above, best thing to do is give us a call to ask! 775-219-4612.
If you are just trying to get rid of your winter items, we will accept them as DONATION ONLY or for our ski recycling program.
With closing out winter gear, we're taking a pause before bringing in the summer goodies like mountain bikes, stand up paddle boards and kayaks! Stay tuned on social for updates (we're estimating intake to start ~March 15th.
As always, we will continue to accept year round items like camp cook sets, backpacks, tents, camp chairs, camp stoves, and climbing gear!
