Gear Hut is excited to follow up their closure on Black Friday with "Shop Local Saturday". This Saturday, they will donating 10% of sales to Great Basin Outdoor School. GBOS is Gear Hut's Non-Profit of the month.
Gear Hut is proud to support several Non-Profits and the work they do for the Reno Tahoe community. We offer the ability to donate your consignment items to several Non-Profits. Each month will highlight a different Non-Profit and the progress they have been making.
Our November Non-Profit is the Great Basin Outdoor School. Enough good things cannot be said about them. They do the vital job of getting kids outside to learn. As their mission states, they "ignite children's passion for learning and foster cooperation, respect, and responsibility through hands-on discovery in the outdoor classroom."
