We are stoked to be officially announcing a FREE community event series, ALL summer long! (That means if you can't make one, no worries, there will be more!)
Let’s explore some new trails and clean up some stinkin trash this summer! Reno Running Company and Gear Hut have teamed up to bring Reno an awesome event series highlighting some of our favorite recreation areas. Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful will be supplying all the gear and supplies to clean up our trails throughout the entire summer.
Mark your calendars, set alarms, reserve the date, text your pals and make sure you’re ready to rumble. Every other Thursday, starting July 1st, we'll be enjoying the cooler evening weather and the trail.

Thursday, July 29th - "Learn to Trail Run" Clinic @ North Valley's Regional Park
Thursday, August 12th - Ballardini Ranch Trailhead
Thursday, August 26th - Hidden Valley Regional Park
Thursday, September 9th - Closing Ceremony @ Peavine. Evans Canyon and Nature Trail
All events will run from 6pm-8pm and conclude with a post run/hike/ride brews & BBQ, raffle prizes and giveaways! (Yes - FREE DINNER, every other Thursday, all summer long... who can say no to that?!). Be sure to RSVP on Facebook (all events are linked above!)
The RRC x Gear Hut Summer Trail Series is open to HIKERS, BIKERS and RUNNERS! With all the modes of transportation, we’ll be able to cover a lot of ground. For each event, we've prepared segment maps for the different groups to focus their trash cleaning efforts. We are beyond excited to see how much trash we can clean up in our parks over the 6 events.
