If you’ve climbed long enough, you know the heartbreak: your favorite pair of climbing shoes—the ones that fit just right are on their way out... but you keep pulling them out and they're just getting worse because you don't want to send them out for an 8-10 week resole turnaround.

We get it. And Gear Hut is officially here to help. After the past (8) years of constant inquiries about a local climbing shoe re-soler in the Reno/Tahoe area, we are excited to announce that Gear Hut is now officially offering climbing shoe resoling services... with the goal of keeping turnover as under 3-4 weeks!

Kyle and Rusty have spent the last 9 months researching, training, practicing (thank you if you donated dead shoes to our testing processes), and perfecting the craft. They traveled to OR to shadow the team at Gear Fix and invested hours into figuring out their flow.

Your beloved shoes can now be repaired, revived, and sent right back up the wall/rock instead of into the landfill. The mission: staying true to Gear Hut's overall goal - reducing landfill impact and keeping gear in use for as long as possible!

Our resoling services include:

• Vibram and Unparalleled rubber (we're actively looking to expand these options)

• Sole and rand repair (half soles only)

• Simple drop-off at any of Reno's (4) climbing gyms

• Online invoicing and pick-up of completed shoes at Gear Hut
